Tom Baker
I had an airplane that I take care of that needed a small composite repair made on the firewall. I was trying to figure the best way to get it taken care of for my customer since I don't have factory composite training. I gave Tad a call to ask some questions. Well Tad's folks only live about 1 hour from my shop, and he already had some vacation time scheduled the following week, and I got the OK from the insurance to do the repair. With all the cards falling in place Tad was on his way for a surprise visit to his folks and to do my repair. I tried to have the airplane ready for his arrival, and the repairs started soon after he arrived. Tad made the repair showing me how it is done the whole way. He even gave me some tips on doing the paint touch up which came out OK. Tad is a wealth of knowledge on these airplanes, and if you are in his neck of the woods you couldn't find a better shop to do your work.
