Roger Lee Posted July 30, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 Hi Wayne, Look down at the edges of the pads. They have indentations. When the pad needs to be replaced the indentation will be gone. No guess work. You don't need anything, but a flashlight to check them. After 600+ hours and I'm not gentle on brakes, I just replaced mine. About $30 for just the pads and a tad more if you send in the backing plate with the old pads for an exchange.
