Doesn't look like that task is quite as easy as the small airports I usually visit. Doug The typical and easy approach to SLT (KTVL) is from the north or from the lake, and prevailing wind is from the south so most often its an easy strait in. From either direction I would reference the wind sock on final because the there is rising terrain in the pattern so I only fly it if I have to.
