Roger Lee
I believe the prop test time for FD is either 50 or 100 hrs. for them to approve and certify a prop and that cost money so that is one reason you don't see lots of prop options. I was hoping they would get away from Neuform and stick with Sensenich, but that didn't happen. The CTLSi could physically run almost any prop we normally talk about here just like the 912ULS could, but the lack of testing and approval from FD would prevent that at this time. I have been using a 68" Sensenich for 2 years now and like it. I did a high speed test against a red 2 blade Neuform yesterday. We are in the same hangar. I was faster, but just by a little. We climb at the same rate. Top rpm for me was 5700 rpm WOT. My WOT rpm does vary just a tad between hot summer months and colder winter months. Anticept
He loves the smell of mogas in the morning. Either that or he's doing a very poor job of offing himself!
