Runtoeat
Has anyone found a type of paint and color that matches the dull matt grey finish of the structure that holds our instruments? I experimented with a flat black paint pen to try to touch up some spots on the structure where there are scratchs and scrapes resulting from equipment being removed/installed. This turned out to be way too dark and shiny to match the very dull matt grey texture and color. I don't want to use a spray paint due to this being inside of the cockpit and near the plexiglas w'shield and side windows. I'm thinking that I will mask the panel and brush paint just the front edge of it up to the edges of the flat aluminum panels that hold the instruments. Roger Lee
Just use an airbrush gun. It is used for fine detail work and not a lot of over spray.

Roger, I've been interested in trying an airbrush. If you've touched up the I/P "mushroom" structure, do you have a color and type of paint to use? Anyone else who may have touched up the I/P?
