Any of the best on line recommendations for buying maintenance items for the Rotax? Good prices and fast shipping a priority.

I'm interested in a winter stock up of these items plus can any members advise as to which items I should have in stock. I plan to do much of the easy stuff with the guidance of a local Rotax expert.

Oil = www.oil-store.com

Filters, sparkplugs, sparkplug heat sink compound, and carb kits = any of the 3 Rotax distributors.

Air filter, most likely changed to a K&N. For them you need cleaner and oil. If still paper give me a call, I have some.

Compression tester is the same as used with other aircraft engines.

Carb balance, you can pick up a multi engine dual type manifold pressure gauge, or buy a special unit.

Battery = Apex battery.

No belts.

Clamps and tools, there are several different types and tools. Unless you are going to get heavy into maintenance I wouldn't bother.

Tires and tubes = Desser Tire.

Thanks Tom great information! I have a twin max carb sync unit that I used on my motorcycles. It looks like the actual fittings are unique to the Rotax and bing 64. If you have source info on those fittings alone that would be great. I'm googling as we speak.

Thanks Tom,

Thanks Tom,

I connect at the balance tube connection on the left intake manifold. One end is simply a hose that slides on the fitting on the intake manifold, the other has an aluminum fitting the slides into the hose on the balance tube. I don't have any pictures at the moment.
