DownUnderFlier
Has anyone had experience with "St. Louis Stamping" (SLS) one-ear hose-clamps ? How do they compare with Oetiker ones ? They look similar, but maybe even a bit better ? David Melbourne, Australia
Roger Lee
I couldn't find them. When I looked a company called Murray kept popping up and they had a one eared clamp, but looked identical to Oetiker. If it is a band clamp and looks like the Oetiker I'm sure it's fine. May be more specific to your part of the world. Do you have a web page?
DownUnderFlier
Thanks Roger, I could only find a basic directory link (St Louis Stamping in Ontario !): https://petropages.directory/supplier/st-louis-stamping-inc- If the photo is successfully attached, the Oetiker may have a slightly better 'non-hose-pinchable' design. But I think the SLS ones will do just fine also. Cheers, David

FlyingMonkey
It looks like the Oetiker piece has a sideways additional tab on it. It looks like that might be intended to keep the edge of the clamp from lifting or catching on items. But the SLS clamp has a much shorter tail after the locking tabs, so it might not need that. Interesting. BTW, I am a huge fan of Oetiker clamps, I use them wherever I can.
