DJ Todd B
Does anyone know, or know where i can find the Grand Canyon's Western Corridor altitude requirements and/or frequencies to monitor. Do I need to contact anyone before entering?
FlyingMonkey
IIRC you don't need to talk, just monitor the frequency and be at the correct altitude for your direction of travel. There is a Grand Canyon chart, I can't remember if they call it a Terminal Area Chart, a Special Use Airspace Chart, or something else. I'm sure if you google "Grand Canyon aviation chart" you'll get it.
FlyingMonkey
Go to skyvector.com under TAC charts and select Grand Canyon. Looks like the freq to monitor is 120.05/127.05MHz.
