okent
Is it possible to set the xm radio input volume to just reduce instead of completly muting with radio call or talking over intercom? I was flying with my buddy last weekend in his 182 and garmin 750 and his would allow both radio calls and xm playing at tbe same time. Today i activatd my xm radio and it mutes when someone talks over intercom or if there is radio chatter. 2008 ctls D100/D120 Thanks
Warmi
If you have PS 3000 intercom then as far as I can tell you can either switch to the SoftMute ( which mutes the audio and then gradually restores the volume ) mode or disable muting altogether. I have a combo of 796 and PS3000 and here is how it sounds on my plane with this setup and SoftMute ... Radio calls get muted partially and Aera 796 warnings completely mute XM music ( but that’s controlled by the Garmin 796 internally )
GrassStripFlyBoy
Nice video, yeah - that's midwest winter aviating, can change quick. I enjoyed the music too, must won't according to the comments on my video with some rock mixed in, but hey - we're of that generation. Function is controlled by the detail shown here:
