Animosity2k
A buddy just got some heated seats for his Zenith and I was curious as to if anyone has come up with a way to install seat heaters? I believe the new F2 has an option for heated seats perhaps this could be an upgrade for current owners down the line? Thoughts?
GrassStripFlyBoy
There are aftermarket automotive seat heater elements available - but I'd caution you on the idea. What engine / alternator does you pal have, maybe not a 912 engine. The electrical system powering all the avionics and charging the battery might not like extra draw from these heaters. Maybe research stand alone system powered by a rechargeable battery, something to do the same thing you want but not tie into the airplane, might make sense. Jacques
https://www.lemke-polsterei.com/#&gid=1948249085&pid=2 this guy is in Germany and make the heated seats for the Zenith. Being in Germany, he might be able to help you for the CT, he surely know what they are. and they work, ..the blue ones are in 701 on my field..that I fly....on skis
