Mike Koerner
Even given the general location (Nordkapp), distance and bearing from a fix (4 nm E UNPAK), what appears to be a highway number (17), and the erstwhile assistance of Google (Maps & Earth), I am as yet still unable to find the exact location of the charted landforms among the convoluted coastal fiords and islands of Norway. gorilla
Hi Mike, UNPAK is an airways reporting point which I use on my SkyDemon navigation app. Here is a screenshot of where UNPAK is and I'm sure you'll be able to orientate from that! gorilla
At the time I took the photograph, I was flying the route from Bodo to Namsos in Norway. Here's a screenshot of flight log from SkyDemon:
Mike Koerner
Found it. Thanks. That's a remarkably rugged coastline, and it sounds like a wonderful trip
Ulmo133
Hello everybody. New to the forum. I registered thanks to this topic because I am in the process of refreshing my 2004 CTSW that I have just acquired and more specifically (for the moment) the instrument panel with the aim of replacing the analog system with an EFIS system. So thank you for files and idea. I'll keep you posted. Good day.
GrassStripFlyBoy
Greetings. A few people posted having made files for newer style panels, not sure I've seen '04 designs around in 2D or 3D format, this is the two piece curved mushroom panel, correct? However you proceed in fabricating these, note the panels are not precisely straight / plumb / level, install the new panel as blank and strike a level line with airframe being level. I made mine all by hand power tools, CAD is nice but also means you're paying someone to machine them, and it's possible to make them just as precisely using router, band saw, and drill press. dabaero
Ulmo133, This might work for you for the lower switch panel. Center_Panel_Rev-A.DXF
Ulmo133
Thank you to you two (sorry I missed your answers). Yes it's the mushroom in two pieces. I will check anyway because I would like to install a glass cockpit but I don't have the money for now.
