Ed Cesnalis
Again, my new PC310 deep discharged, very rapidly. My tender was unplugged and the discharge happened. Is it the charger? Could my CT being doing this? Twice in a short period of time.

Or not plugged into the airplane? Depending on what tender you're running than may be it?

Just a short time went down to 7.1v
Anticept
Your battery may have an internal short. More than likely though, something in the aircraft did it.

The usb was hot to the touch and it totally drained my battery - beyond saving (i tried)
Anticept
The cig socket should be depowered with the master off.

I thought the same, and was confused why there was power to cig lighter with the master off - the plane came wired this way. I suppose I could have it wired to be depowered with master off but I just pop the 12v breaker when not in use.
Anticept
That's extremely odd and undesirable. Mine does power off with the master off.
