Wow! Great videos. I've been wanting to do this with my Insta360 X3, but I am terrified that the boom will break off and damage the aircraft. If I understand the video image correctly, you've secured the boom to the wing tiedown and 2 suction cups. Is that correct? Any tape? Also, it looks like a power cable is snaked out to the camera. Is there a battery attached somewhere?

Wow, bringing back an old thread! Firstly your correct. I have the two suction cups and the tiedown. The suction cups are probably more than enough. I've done 185mph runs in my Audi R8 and have no issues with a single suction taking my camera off the car let alone two! Also your correct on the battery! I cut a hole in the wing inspection plate and have some double sided velcro up inside there that a battery pack is stuck too. I then pass the cable through the inspection plate hole out to the camera. I've been able to run the camera for 3-4 hours nonstop!
