okent Posted February 14, 2022 Report Share Posted February 14, 2022 Flew to Nashville from Tulsa, KRVS to KJWN, last weekend and had a great time. Oddly enough, 2 years ago we made the same trip and landed at KBNA. Had heavy frost the day we left and got deiced with the big boys(and then a thorough cleaning once I was back home) This trip, had the same thing happen but this time they did not have deice, so I spend 30 minutes carefully scraping off the frost layer. OAT was 20F and it took 6 tries to get the engine to fire off. Note to self: Headed back in two weeks and will get the plane tucked away in a heated hangar. 207WF Posted April 11, 2022 Report Share Posted April 11, 2022 Last month Hawthorne CA to Phoenix to New Orleans lakefront, with 2 stops in Texas, then back. 31 hours in 10 days.
