Warren
Hi All, The leather on the controls grips of my CTLS have seen better days, was wondering are the grips straight straight forward to remove to get recovered? Thanks
Roger Lee
They are easy to take off. You will need to lift up the boot at the bottom and disconnect the wires. The leather grip on the handle can be lifted up and some have a screw then you can remove the handle. The radio switch is easy to replace too. Roger, got the jubilee model with wood grips and silver flat PTT button. How does the button come out to replace and where do you get them? I found the same style on Amazon but they are 16 or 19mm and the one in the grip measures 12 mm dia.
Roger Lee
I don’t know where you can buy one. Maybe Aircraft Spruce or Airtime Aviation in Tulsa, oK. I believe it pays out. Place a knife blade under it and see if it pops out.
