Anticept
I believe the main thing about what makes someone an aircraft mechanic is being aware of what the regulations require, and how to get compliant information to perform the work, and to be able to evaluate their own work and others and reject it if it's not up to standard. Can't improve if you can't give your own honest evaluation and hold yourself to it. That's the main concern I have with such short schooling... learning how to recognize good and bad work. Where did you get that one? Does the bowl thread into the manifold? Way better design that those others with a flimsy bracket and thumb screw. The bowl locks on with a slight turn and secures with a cotterpin., it will not come off in an accident. Many certified aircraft are going to this.
