airhound Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 the Garmin GDU 375 is the PFD component of the overall G3X suite. Does anyone know if the 375 alone can be upgraded to synthetic vision or does it have be integrated with all of the G3X suite to have sythetic vision?
TrutrakTech Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Not a Garmin expert, per se, but I think I might be able to help. The GDU is just the display unit. You'll need the GSU73 to go with it (ADAHRS unit). Once you have that and a GMU44 (magnetometer) you have a complete G3X system. It can have synthetic vision.

I understand G3X unit price came down Oshkosh timeframe....Just wondering if dealers sell above components separately? Doug .
