Ctsw fuel dipstick improvement

I needed accurate readings to resolve a fuel flow anomally ( rt/lt tank). Black anodized are still not available for the sw so I came up with a gimick that works even better. It's a piece of rubber hose ( preferably dull) that's slit end to end. Slips over the edge of the gage. Very accurate readings in any light. I remove it between readings to retain tension but could be tie wrapped.

I had mine powder coated black. My wife loves it (oh wait, I'm divorced).
