Roger Lee
Here is an easy to make oil filter runoff tray. This hooks just under the oil filter so when you unscrew it and the oil drools out it just runs down the tray and into whatever you have to catch it. It is made of aluminum. You need to put a slight roll in it which can be accomplished with a soup can. Fold up the ends on the big end about 3/8" and then cut a little opening in it to clear a part of the engine block. The tray hooks onto the lip under the oil filter mount and just sits there. It runs out to your right hand side over the radiator. No more oil or mess in the radiator during a filter change. See attached pictures.

Runtoeat
The runoff tray is something that is very necessary. If oil drips down onto the radiators during the filter change, it takes FOREVER to get out of these and will prevent tape used for regulation of oil temps in cold weather from sticking to the radiators. 207WF
If I stick a bunch of rags under the oil filter I can it off and the new one one without any oil spill. WF
