landing light causes radio static

A new thing after the new engine.

I wonder how best to shield the wires that go to the landing light, if that is the cause.

I am thinking about trying aluminum foil.

Already redid the connectors, but no joy.

Is the landing light LED?  If so, try adding ferrite beads or a choke to the light wire.  There is considerable information online about LED lights causing radio interference.  Look at the ham or amateur radio sites.

If the LED bulb is one that corrects polarity, then you might try reversing the plug.
