How to connect D100 to the Aera 660 gps to have crosswind component?

Depends on if you have an HS34 or not. You need to consult the documentation for your dynon installation AND your GPS to determine what protocols configure on the GPS, inputs to configure on the D100/HS34, and what pins.

Usually the protocol is "aviation format" (preferred) or "NMEA sentences" at 9600 baud, normal rate (use fast if normal doesnt seem to work right).
