markmn
Finally got some time in the Tecnam P2008 today. Been so busy with work have not flown since july. The temp today were about 10F at 3000 and the with the same throttle/rpm setting I am about 10 knots faster than I was in july. Wondering if you see the kind of performance differences in the CTs when it gets cold? Mark
DocRon
Mark, I agree completely. I fly out of Hawley, MN in a 2008 CTLS. In the winter at 3000MSL I have achieved 128Knots TAS. Can't get close to that in the summer. I guess because the air is so much denser when cold. Anyway, take-off performance is better too. Now if it wasn't SO cold sometimes I could fly more often. Fine airplane, but the heater is a bit inadequate.

DocRon
Roger, I'm really intrigued about that. Let's save it for good dinner conversation next month.
