Runtoeat Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 A Remos crashed this morning at Ann Arbor airport in Ann Arbor Michigan. Reports indicate that this was a Remos that is rented at the airport. If so, I have flown this aircraft. The pilot was alone and the preliminary report is that he was pinned in the aircraft for 30 minutes while the emergency crew cut away the engine to free him. He was taken to University of Michigan hospital. I overflew the airport today returning to homebase of KYIP after the accident and was not aware that this occured until landing and listening to the news. Winds were 15kts gusting to 22 today and were slightly X-wind to Ann Arbor's runway 6 with the wind at 40 degrees. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
