NC Bill Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 I've used the camera twice for more than 1 hour. Once airborne on the wing in the waterproof case, and once without the case on a railing taking still life. Both times the recording files were split into "34 minute 42 second" files with discrete names like GOPRO108 and GO10108. I can't tell if the filming was continuous or if there was some interruption but I suspect continuous. I don't find this mentioned in the manual. Just that overheating may cause a "shut down". Is this normal and am I getting continuous action?
CT4ME Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Yes... It is normal. The recordings are continuous, but broken into parts. The same thing happens if you use time-lapse. 999 pics are put into a folder, then another folder is created. Other cameras do similar things. Tim
