Roger Lee Posted September 14, 2012 Report Share Posted September 14, 2012 Hi Doug, Because of the location of the filter it is usually fibers from the fuel tank from sloshing fuel that break off fibers from the tank construction. Usually this is a limited issues because after enough hours most fibers are gone from the sloshing fuel. Yes you can get some fibers from the fire sleeve, but they tend to be very white and are so fine they can actually get by this filter if they are fine enough.
