Rogerck
We noticed that our flaps are not zero aligned with the fuselage faring. The right flap is about 3/16 higher and the left is 1/8 lower. We are not the original owners. Before correcting the alignment, is there any possibilty that the flaps were deliberately set this way to compensate for some uneven flight characteristic? I sure hope not. Also, any words of wisdom on how to best reach the adjustment screws? Roger Kuhn
round_peg
The alignment of the flaps on 09W. Is this unusual and does it beg to be readjusted?
CT4ME
I assume the flaps are at 0 degress for both? if so, doesn't look right. tim
round_peg
Perhaps we should put it this way: does anyone else note a flap misalignment issue of this magnitude on their CT? We won't want to attempt an alignment adjustment (not easy!) unless we determine that this alignment is unusual.
Roger Lee
Your right. I should not be this way. Will it fly yes, are the flaps causing some slight out of trim issue yes, but you are probably correcting for it and may not notice it. It is a royal PITA to try an adjustment. You need small people, long wrench extensions or one small 5-8 year old to stick in the luggage compartment with a wrench.
