Scrapman1959
CT has learned to swim! We ferried this cool airplane from Sheboygan to Owatonna IA.
Runtoeat
Scrap, is this the same one that was at Sebring last year? It is really well done and looks cool. What was the cruise speed?
Scrapman1959
No, it just got outfitted with floats a month ago. The other one was sold last year. The floats are installed near Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. We were headed up that way, so got it part way back to Tulsa for Airtime Aviation. They picked it up in Ottumwa and will have it at Sebring next week. To my knowledge she is looking for a home. The prop needed to be set by Airtimes guys. I think they cruise around 100 knts when set up properly. The CTLS looks like it was born with floats, don't you agree?
FastEddieB
If 100hp can drag all that mass through the air at 100k, color me impressed. Still, how cool would it be to live on a lake with one of those tied up to a dock in your backyard! In that case, color me jealous!!!
Scrapman1959
According to the dynon it will do 100 knts. I have seen some of the dynons read as much as 5 or 6 knts fast though. Just make sure you get to Sebring Eddie and go find out for yourself. I will be missing it this year, and I hear they are having a little air show too. Patty Wagstaff maybe?
