paul m
Was just reviewing the new GAMA 2012 shipment report. Flight Design and Cubcrafters are now included. FD shipped 76 ASTM CT Series worldwide last year (down from 89 in 2011). http://www.gama.aero/files/documents/02-12-13%20GAMA%20RELEASES%202012%20YEAR-END%20REPORT%20AND%20FOCUSES%20ON%20THE%20OPPORTUNITIES%20-%2020120213Final.pdf
Adam
Interesting stuff... Looks like the Cessna Flycatcher (I mean Skycatcher) had a pretty abysmal year... FD will remain on top for some time to come.
paul m
yah, but keep in mind Cubcrafters numbers are largely sold in US while FD I'm guessing are not so at some point you might see the Carbon Cub atop the Dan Johnson leader board with respect to US registrations. My belief is the Carbon Cub is the best taildragging/backcountry LSA and the CTLS the best touring/modern avionics LSA, and as such attract different buyers. (No disrespect to Tecnam or others intended.)
