Ed Cesnalis
I meant to do this with the camera under the wing, but the mount wouldn't stick

Roger Lee
Hi Ed, The suction mount is all I use and it sticks well. Maybe that area needs a little cleaner?
Duane Jefts
Nice video. Did you use a filter on the camera to reduce the amount of propeller interference and if so what? Would like to have seen the landing.
Ed Cesnalis
No filter. The editing is so tedious that I end up with far too much video. I don't have a feel for it yet.
Ed Cesnalis
Would like to have seen the landing. Ok, Downwind landing 30 degrees closed throttle inadvertent contact at numbers
Duane Jefts
Thanks for the landing video. Much different than a 15 degree for sure. I haven't landed the CT with more than 15 flaps but intend to do so the next time out. This video gives me a pretty good idea of the nose attitude necessary. Just so you 30/40 degree flap guys (with power off), don't get after me, I just haven't seen the need for a short field landing technique yet. During my 40+ years of flying I used to operate a c-130 out of an island that was only 2500 feet long so I do understand the concept of maximum effort landings. I just find 15 flaps in the CT a gentleman's approach and landing technique.
