Neither of my Citabrias had stall warning devices, and, like Andy, they were not missed due to the marked buffeting that preceded a stall.

 

Still, falls into the "nice to have" category. My Sky Arrow has a Cessna part # stall horn in the wing root. Problem is, it went off way too early, so it got to be like the boy who cried wolf.

 

No direct adjustment possible, but I managed to lower it by a few knots thusly:

 

 

You can still hear it moaning away on some of my approaches and landings long before it really should.
