Al Downs
How many hours are you getting on your tires? I have the wings off and see it is only a small rubber hose from the wing root to the steel fuel line going down the pillar. This would be a good time to change it. Is this a pre-formed line or will a straight hose work with out kinking?
Roger Lee
Hi Al, I have seen CT tires last as short as 50 hrs and as long as 600 hrs. Not so much the hours as the number of landings and brake use. Of course camber and toe in/out play a really huge part if they are off. Most CT's have poor camber settings and I usually correct it when I install Matco wheels. The short rubber hose can be changed, but I would highly recommend looking at the maint. pictures section or call me. There is an easy way and a hard way and a way to damage your pitot tubes and wires. It isn't that hard, but it will really help to have someone explain it first. http://ctflier.com/index.php?/topic/1547-fuselage-fuel-hose-change-tips/
