Runtoeat Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Pretty country Ian. What are the large group of buildings near your runway and also towards the top of the picture. Are these large farms, horse stables, houses?
Ian Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 The largest group of buildings just to the North East of the runway is a farm which belongs to the guy who owns the field - he's retired from farming but now rents out the farm to a tenant. It's convenient because he can keep his tractor and mower their withour taking up space on the airfield. The buildings towards the top are all residential. You can also see the small hangar north of the runway at the western end, that's where my CT lives along with the owner's his Jodel.
