Roger Lee
Here is a simple way to make an inexpensive compression test extension to reach down inside the spark plug wells. You need an old plug. Break off the top white porcelain to the metal base. Break off the electrode tip. Put the metal part that is left in a vise and either drill ot or use a small pointed punch and break out the porcelain down inside the metal hull so it is just a clean hole down through the center. Buy a 6" x 1/2" galvanized pipe with threads at Ace Aviation and a brass fitting for one end of the pipe to screw your air chuck onto. The one in this picture is a male fitting and you may need a female. Then take the metal plug hull and weld it to the other end of the pipe. Tack on two tee handle extensions down by the air chuck fitting. make them only about 1" long on each side. Remove the crush washer on the end of the plug and just put an "O" ring on it. For just a couple of dollars you now have an compression test extension tool. Compression Tester End.pdf Compression Tester.pdf
