Roger Lee
Hi Dick, The oil hose clamps or nothing more than fuel injection clamps. Then you have the ,coolant spring clamps. Fuel hoses should use Oetiker clamps and where they need to be removed periodically use fuel injection clamps. There are a few worm drive clamps on the FD Rotax application, but these are not the slotted worm drive, but the raised rib type. They are much better and less likely to overcam and strip. The standard worm drive clamp should not be used on fuel because it doesn't always do a good 360 degree job on sealing.
Runtoeat
Hi Roger. Thanks for the info. I prescribe to your advice and use the raised rib screw clamps and do not use the slotted type. Doug, thanks. You, Jacques and Roger indicate that Rotax engines are shipped with spring clamps on all of the coolant lines. It would be interesting to see if a spring clamp might eliminate some hard to stop leaks at a few hose connections on my friend's CTLS that now have screw clamps.
