Garmin enters the fray with this: http://www.sportys.c...p/product/19478 Has a little color monitor built in, an altimeter and gps, goes 3 hours on a charge. I'm not married to any camera but the side by side later in the video (splitscreen) shows the GoPro to be a bit more stable (smaller size? better mount?).
