FlyingMonkey Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 Is there a particular procedure to drain and flush the coolant from the engine? Any tips or tricks? Where is the drain plug, on the radiator? I'd like to flush and fill with new coolant, I don't know how old the coolant is in me engine.
mocfly Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 I think the plug is actually on the pump. Great location on the back of the engine.
FlyingMonkey Posted November 18, 2013 Author Report Posted November 18, 2013 This better not be one of those 9 pagers! I can't help that every question I ask leads to controversy!!
S4Flier Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 At least no one linked flushing the radiator with full stall landings....

Doug G. Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 You know, of course, that slow landings decrease air flow through the radiator, not to mention the AoA is all wrong for cooling. So, maybe if you don't do them you won't need to flush the radiator. lol
