S4Flier
Thoughts on the recently announced Hornet Aircraft Heater? http://www.aircraftheaters.com/#!aircraftheaters/c10my Not entirely clear but looks like the small one has a thermostat set for 70 degree and runs $199. One could conceivably just put this device under the cowl after every flight and not worry about overheating or having to turn the engine heater on remotely. No install either and can be used as an inflight heater for those in colder climates.
Anticept
What kind of thermocouple, and what is the peak temp if it fails?
paul m
They look interesting. How do you get it under cowl in a CT though? Looks a little big for the oil door and there is no front air scoop like a cessna or cirrus to drop it into like he shows in his video.
