CT4ME
FYI... 'just bought a Nexus 7 (gen 2) and was happily surprised by a "life of the device" freebie... 200 MB /month of free cellular Internet! I bought the Nexus 7 through the Google Play store, with the T-Mobile service. The first month is 2 GB free. I don't know if the same deal is extended to AT&T users. Of course, larger plans are available for $$$. So, that's not bad. 200 MB a month would be more than you would normally need to check email, and do some flight planning on your EFB. Do NOT make the mistake of updating your maps/charts with cellular... wait for a free WiFi connection. I'm using an iPad mini for my main EFB... the Nexus will be for day-to-day non-aviation use and as a backup. But the Nexus could easily be a great EFB, as long as you don't want to use FF or WingX.
