Wind was 15 gusting 24 this airport is nick named First Fright real name is First Flight I have landed there couple of times as you approach sometimes your plane will just start dropping crazy how the wind swirls between trees and ocean.Plane ended up next to runway mangled up in the trees. FlyingMonkey
I have not heard of many Allegro crashes, I think this is only the second or third crash I have heard of in that model. Glad folks walked away, I hope that eye injury doesn't lead to permanent disability.

When I had it for sale I had people tell me about others that had been damaged.

Tom Baker
I have not flown one, so I can't say. I know the people around the airport where I sold that used CTSW didn't like the Alllegro, but love the CT.
Roger Lee
They have a center stick and fly just like ours. You could get out of the CT and fly the Allegro.
