NC Bill Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 What is it for the CTLS? Does it vary between SW & LS? Or by year?
S4Flier Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 Or 23,000 for a Tecnam P92D (914 turbo) http://www.tecnam.net/News/New-Release/96/Tecnam-conquers-Aconcagua.aspx
Ed Cesnalis Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 14,000' for CTSW (100'/min climb) per http://documents.flightdesignusa.com/SW-POH.pdf
Anticept Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 It says 14K for us, but I know of a couple that have been over 18K. As you climb higher and start to loose climb drop a flap setting. Example go from -6 to zero. It will make a big difference. This will also depend on prop pitch setting and weight. Just so you know, service ceiling is dictated by when the aircraft is tested or estimated to have a climb rate of less than 100 fpm at WOT. Absolute ceiling is where an aircraft cannot maintain level flight with anything less than full power.
