FlyingMonkey Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Is there a website or other place we can order Flight Design shirts, hats, coffee cups, etc? I wouldn't mind having a some logo'ed goods, especially some casual polo-type shirts.

CT4ME Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Here's an old thread... http://ctflier.com/index.php?/topic/2408-logo-hats I swear I just saw some merchandise (shirt/hat?) in a catalog in the last week... sportys, spruce??? It was just that crappy red V logo, not a plane.
Anticept Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Talk to Airtime Aviation in Tulsa. They have shirts and hats, and maybe mugs. Also, FDUSA's John Gilmore said you can use their logo for personal use, if you want to have it printed on your own shirt, etc. SELLING merchandise with their logo, however, should first have permission. They are pretty lenient about it though, John game me a blanket approval if I ever decided to move forward with it.
stevez2436 Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Just an idea ... Some of our members do such a great job editing their GoPro videos, maybe one of them wants to take a stab at designing a ctflier logo t-shirt ... http://teespring.com/ This website handles everything and there is no out of pocket cost to the shirt designer.

Where is Adam, doesn't he do that professionally?
CT4ME Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Adam had a graphics guy that he paid to do some work, and shared it with the forum.
Al Downs Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 DocRon did little work on a logo for hats. I added my N number. Here is a link to it on this site. http://ctflier.com/index.php?/topic/2408-logo-hats/
CT4ME Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 I like that graphic a lot, but the CTsw doesn't have those little winglets. Maybe I'll mess around with the graphic and see if I can turn it into a SW. tim
DocRon Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 Guys, I have images for CTLS and CTSW (in various paint schemes). Send me your tail number, CTLS or CTSW, and type of paint design, and I'll send you a JPG image with your tail number on it. You can then have it made into a patch, t-shirt image, or cup decal. E-mail me directly at ron@loretel.net
CT4ME Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 Ron... Wow, thanks! I'm looking forward to some "proper" CT-ware for Page.
Tom Baker Posted June 14, 2014 Report Posted June 14, 2014 If someone wanted to do an order of shirts for Page I know a girl who does graphic design and screen printed shirts. She could work with someone to come up with a design by email. She could then print and ship the shirts. Whoever would head up the project would need to handle orders and payment.
alexfortin Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Hey Im a big fan of aviation . If you guys still planning on doing this shirt I can give you a hand with design and everything. I've been actually creating shirt for quite a while you can have a look here: http://teespringexpert.com So id be super happy to just help get this shirt done. Let me know if the project is still alive.. we could create something with the CT Flyer groups..like an official shirt. Let me know what you think! Thanks! Alex
FlyingMonkey Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 Ron... Wow, thanks! I'm looking forward to some "proper" CT-ware for Page. Speaking of which, having some T-shirts, patches, etc to sell for each Page Fly-In would be cool, if nobody is doing anything already.
CT4ME Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 I've thought about it, but you've got at least two different models, and numerous different color/design schemes. The Generic Flight Design red "V" sux. I've had the CTSW caricature logo digitized at logosportswear.com (logosoftwear.com) and it can be used on products, ordered one-by-one (by anyone). But, of course, they cost more than if you bought a bunch. I have hats and polos like this:
FlyingMonkey Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 All you need is to come up with a logo for the page fly-in that doesn't include a pic of a CT and a year of the Fly-In. Make the logo more about the locale than the airplane, especially since we're trying to attract other LSA types as well.
CT4ME Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 'Plenty of generic monument valley or lake powell material out there... hmmm... or... this, with the words "Page AZ - LSA Fly-in"
Duane Jefts Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 This has always been my favorite CT picture taken over Lake Powell at a fly in. Perhaps some description could be added like "Annual Fly In - Page,AZ" I have an enlarged canvas of this in my dining room and the colors are beautiful.
24-8003-ms Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Does anyone have an equivalent colour match for the Woeropur lacquer white that's used on the SWs? It's code is 77547. We can't get the product in Australia.
