The latch mechanism on the oil check door on the cowl, wore out, 0n my 2010 CTLS. Apparently it is back ordered at Lockwood. Does anybody have this part available in the US or elsewhere? I'm thinking I can use high speed tape to keep it shut in flight , but I'm open to any other suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help.

You could wire it shut from the back side.  That would probably be more secure than tape, but you'd have to take the top cowl off to check the oil.  Otherwise bolus tape covering the whole door would work, and you'd probably gain ten knots from drag reduction.  ;)

LIke the Drag reduction part, taking the cowling off is a pain in the a$$.
