L3 Avionics ADS-B solution

Good morning,

 

After reading the L-3 article in Sport Aviation on page 14, I thought I'd give them a call.

The info I received was quite promissing for those of us that only need an ADS-B "OUT" solution. (In/out packages will be available also)

From what I was told, it's a stand alone unit, NGT-1000, with cert. GPS and transmitter.

 

Those of us equipped with the GDL-39 (in only) will be able to meet the mandate for under $2000. The actual cost will be released in two or three weeks. The units will be available in approx nine months.
