sandpiper
I am re-organizing my hangar and ran accross the Italian wheels, etc I took off my CT about 4 years ago. Anyone have a need for these?
FastEddieB
John, Marc Ignego? I might as spares if they're the same size and type as mine. Photos might help.
Tom Baker
If Fast Eddie doesn't take them I will gladly pay shipping. I still take care of several aircraft with the Italian wheels, including mine. Spare parts can come in handy. Eddie, they are 6" wheels, but they are also different assemblies out there being used. I have a Tecnam in the shop that has Marc wheels, but they are cast instead of stamped like the CT's
FastEddieB
Well, I have 5" mains and rather unique master cylinders. Still on my original brake pads, so I could use those if they have life left, and maybe the rotors if they're like mine, for future use. I assume the master cylinders are different from the ones my finger brakes use. But no big deal if someone else has a pressing need.
Tom Baker
The Tecnam in the shop has 5" wheels. Parts might be the same, but hard to tell without pulling them and doing a side by side comparison.
sandpiper
You guys decide. These are the 6" version that came on the Tundra gear option. I took these off when my plane was 2.5 years old, had 171 hours, and 381 landings. Pads are original. I would want the freight paid. If nobody wants them, they go in the trash. Ed Cesnalis
I still have my original tundra gear. Its all a dead match for me, I'll take them before you trash them, I'll even stop by and pick them up.
FastEddieB
I'll pass if they're a better match for others.
sandpiper
Tom - you are next in line. If you don't want them then they are Ed's (Charlie Tango).
Tom Baker
I sent a private message with shipping info. I will make sure they are put to good use.
