WmInce
Looks like Dynon is preparing Skyview users for wireless software updates. Perhaps Bluetooth will follow. That would be cool. Imagine the possibilities, if your iPad could communicate with your Skyview.
FlyingMonkey
It would be doubly excellent if a Foreflight/Garmin/WingX-like Skyview app were offered that mirrored the Skyview data to the iPad...that would be sexy.

Actually, IMHO Andy, I think the iPad is superior than Skyview in several ways. Three biggies are the display clarity, software updates and simplicity. The iPad Apps are constantly being improved and upgrades are more timely. Did I mention cost?

I just came out of the Cirrus world and was stunned at how cheap the Dynon tech is vs. my (former) friends at Avidyne and Garmin!
FastEddieB
Also coming from the Cirrus world... When they told me a Dynon PFD added to my Sky Arrow would be "27", I balked. I mean, adding a $27,000 PFD to a Light Sport seemed absurd. When I said so, it was clarified to be $2,700 (!) I did my best Emily Litella and said, "That's completely different. Never mind." Coincidentally, exactly one order of magnitude!

You havn't seen the Garmin G2000 in the Cessna TTx yet... 14 inch LED HD screens, touch interface, SD sw updates, wireless VIRP camera interface, certified... Dual Nav/Com/GPS/WAAS, GTC 570 3D stereo intercom, GFC 700 3-axis autopilot. ESP Stability System. The G1000 is old glass...Cirrus is behind changing to the G2000.
