NTSB Issues Safety Alerts

The NTSB has issued three safety alerts based on recent investigations:

 

1. mountain flying skills and survival equipment considerations;

2. transition training before flying an unfamiliar aircraft with different flight characteristics or avionics;

3. and performing thorough and advanced preflight checks on aircraft that have just received flight control or trim system maintenance.
