rhanson
I might be interested, as I plan to park outside. Are there covers for all of the A/C ? And, what is the packing/storage size and weight ? RH
N89WD
Hi rhanson, yes, Bruce's Covers have covers from DC-3's down to the tiny CT's. The one I have weighs about 3.5 lbs and when stored is about the size of a homemade loaf of bread. The new ones off Bruce's website are 375.00 plus shipping. Let me know, love to help ya out! FlyingMonkey
Somebody should snatch up the metal pax footrest. I have one, it's the best accessory I have bought for my CTSW. And I don't think they are made anymore.

Anticept
They are a little more complicated than they look. Hinged and slotted to fit under the rudder pedals. That's pretty simple. If they had curves and bends, then it gets complicated.
Roger Lee
These are cut out with a water jet C&C. You need to buy stainless hinges and do a little extra machine work after the initial cutting. Tom Covell in my hangar makes these.
Doug G.
Thanks for coming in Roger. I have one, but wasn't sure if Tom was still making them. Anticept, how are you at welding aluminum? I'd like to find someone who was willing to make a couple of the wheel jack/chocks that were in a post a while back.
FlyingMonkey
I think the hardest part would be getting good templates for the parts. The cutting, drilling, and riveting is not hard, though cutting the narrow slot for the pedal mount might get tricky without CNC.

Anticept
Water cutting would make it fast to cut, but it's not the only way. What kind of aluminum do you need welded? I don't do much welding, but i know someone who is very good at it. I can do simple stuff but it really depends on the material. There are some types of aluminum that cannot be welded because it causes cracking.
Duane Jefts
Tom's footrest is just like "mastercard"-- "priceless", especially for the passenger.

Roger Lee
Tom is the original designer and builder. Same for the gust lock. he's quite ingenious when it comes to design and building. He's done that all his life.
