FlyingMonkey Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 Oh, their new CTLS will have air conditioning. What wimps.
Runtoeat Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 Might have flown with the plane/pilot for a while coming back to Michigan after Sun 'N Fun a couple years ago. We stayed overnight at Lake City, Fl. due to weather and he elected to do the same. Interesting setup on the Sherriff's plane. It had FLEER mounted on the right wing and laptop computer inside with extra police band radios. As I recall, this CTLS was tested by FD and approved for "Utility" with 1500 lb. gross allowed Pretty sure about the "utility" cert but not sure about the exact GTOW.
Sully209 Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 They indeed are obtaining their second CT in Tulare County. Neighbor Kings County Sheriff Department next door picked theirs up earlier this year which makes it nice having several in the area. From what I understand they are working well for the SO here locally.
