Rich
A few nights ago I asked my wife if she'd like to take a ride to see the sunset. Where we going? Wyoming Valley. Where's that? Near Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (AVP) NE PA. We rode to the airport, preflighted and took off to this beautiful airport, right on the Susquehanna River.(WBW.) The restaurant acroos the street was closed, but we spotted the golden arches about a quater mile down the road. Two chicken sandwiches, small fries, water and a sundea-----$6.50. 0.6 total trip burning 3 gallons of Mogas----------------------$9.00. On the trip back, a sunset that was so beautiful we made a 360 just to take another look. (no green flash here) Landed back at N30 and used the car headlights to button up in the hangar. 2.5 gallons @ $2.68 for the car----$6.70 $22.20 total. Now that's really beating the proverbial burger . Only in America.

IrishAl
Phew! Ahem.... That works out at about £14 sterling. Over here, you could spend all of it just on a meal for two at McD's.

You have to hit the button at the bottom of the site that says "View Full Version" or something like that. Then you will get the non-mobile, full featured version of the site. Mobile devices are the bane of web development.
