How to break your CTSW seat I finally believed my girlfriend today. She has complained that the right seat in the CT is broken and it turns out she is right. Here is what I think happened. I think that someone large and heavy sat in the right seat without the strap to the bulkhead tight and their weight cased the seat to fail in 2 places as it conformed to the bulkhead. Check your straps and make sure that they are tight enough to hold the seat upright and that you are not relying on the seat against the bulkhead because the angles don't match and it can break the seat. I think my CT was delivered in this condition.
chanik
They slip easily though. I make it a habit of tying a simple overhand knot in the straps at the clip after they are cinched up.
coppercity
Yep, I do the same. The LS seems to be a little more prone to seat damage especially when the seat is three to four holes back on the rails. The gear leg mounts seem to be the culprit causing damage if the straps slip some.
